TCL TV+ is a service offered by TCL Research America, Inc.TCL Research America, Inc., and our affiliates (“TCL” “we” “us” or “our”), does its very best to protect your privacy when you use our services. This Policy tells you everything you need to know about the information we collect from you, how we use that information, who we share the information with, and how we obtain parent’s permission, when required, to collect, use, and share your information. This policy covers information collected from users of the TCL TV+ applications, TCL TV+ website, mobile app, or any other platform or product(“TCL TV+”), and any other related services (together, the “Services”).

In this policy we use the term “Personal Information.” That term means any information that could be used to identify you or describe you. This information includes your name, address, date of birth, and even your mobile devices, tablets, and computers.

We collect Personal Information about you from various sources, directly and indirectly, including from the following:

Directly or indirectly from you: Most of the Personal Information we collect comes from you. This is either information you provide to us directly, such as your name and email address, or indirectly, such as when you use our Services.

Business partners: We may receive Personal Information from third-party business partners (such as our business partners) related to your use of the Services. The Services may also permit you to log-in and connect to the Services with your social media account username and password (such as your Facebook credentials), and we may collect profile information about you from that social media website that you have made publicly available.

Automatically through the Services: Like many app providers, when you access and use our Services, we use cookies, log data, and similar technology to automatically record personal identifiers (such as your IP address and device identifiers), information about your device (such as your browser type, locale preferences, and mobile carrier) and information concerning your usage activity on the Services (such as your interaction with our Services or the content and advertising displayed on them and our content).

2. Additional Information About our Data Collection and Sharing Practices

Retention. We only keep information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and as permitted or required by law, such as to comply with recordkeeping and other legal obligations. There may also be residual information that will remain within our backup files, databases, and other records, which will not be removed or changed, except in accordance with retention policies, or as otherwise required under applicable privacy laws.

Aggregate and De-identified Data. We may de-identify information and create anonymous and aggregated data sets and reports to assess, improve and develop our business, products and Services, prepare benchmarking reports on our industry and for other research, marketing and analytics purposes. In other words, we may do everything described above, except the information is fixed in a way that it cannot be traced back to you. This data is not Personal Information.

Sharing of Aggregated Data. We may analyze aggregated, de-identified data in accordance with the applicable data protection laws and share these analyses at our discretion, including with marketing agencies, media agencies, and analytics providers. These other companies will not be able to relate this data to identifiable individuals.

Combination of Information. We may combine information from the Services together and with other information we obtain from our business records.

Change of Ownership or Corporate Organization. We may transfer to another entity or its affiliates or service providers some or all information about you in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, acquisition, sale of assets or any line of business, change in ownership control, or financing transaction.

4. Do-Not-Track Signals

Currently, various Internet browsers offer a “Do-Not-Track” option. Because the providers of Do-Not-Track and similar signals do not yet operate according to common, industry-accepted standards, we currently do not respond to those signals. 5. Global Privacy Signal

We receive and process Global Privacy Signals (“GPC Signal”) for requests to opt-out of sale or sharing. We process the commonly used and industry standard GPC Signals but because this is new technology and new providers may offer solutions, we will do our best to recognize, process, and honor a GPC Signal that meets the legal standards and is widely adopted in the industry.

The Services may contain links to other websites, and other websites may link to the Services. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other websites. Whenever you visit another website – via a link from the Services or otherwise – you should review the privacy policy of that other website. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information provided or obtained on our Services.

7. Children

The Services covered by this privacy policy are generally not intended for use by children under 13. You must be at least 18 years of age or older to use the Service. Children may only use the Service with the consent, supervision and approval of a parent or legal guardian.

Users Under 18

Users under the age of 18 may use the services with the permission and consent of their parent or legal guardian. Those users will have a slightly modified functionality of the Services. Specifically, for users under 18, we will by default turn off any ad personalization or profiling functions. All data for users under 18 will be collected and used only for internal data analysis purposes.

9. Third Parties

We have partnered with our business partners and other third party entities to provide the services to you, including content providers that provide the content you watch on TCL TV+. Please note, that when you are engaging with third party services connected to our Services, both we, and the third party, may collect your Personal Information. We partner with Inworld to provide the IDEO function. Your personal data will also be collected and processed by Inworld according to their Privacy Policy (https://inworld.ai/privacy). Also, when you use the IDEO function, your voice data will be processed by Google. Your data will be directly transferred to Google. Please refer to Google privacy notices(https://policies.google.com/privacy) for information on further processing of your personal data.

10. Your Privacy Rights

We care about your privacy and respect your privacy choice. You have the below listed rights with regard to the Personal Information we have collected about you.

Right to Know

You have the right to request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection and use of your Personal Information, including to specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected about you, the source of that information, the purposes for which we collect it, and the third parties and service providers with whom we share it. This information is disclosed in the “Information We Collect” Section of this Privacy Policy. If you would like to submit a Request to Know, you may submit such a request as described below. To protect our customers’ Personal Information, we are required to verify your identify before we can act on your request.

Right to Access/Portability

You have the right to request that we provide a copy of the Personal Information we have collected about you, in a portable and, to the extent technically feasible, readily usable format that allows you to transmit the data to another entity without hindrance. If you would like to submit a Request to Access/Portability, you may submit such a request as described below. Once we receive your request and confirm your identity, we will provide to you a copy of your data as required under the applicable data protection laws. We may provide this data to you through your user account with us, or via email to the email address you have provided with your request.

Right to Delete

Subject to certain exceptions, you have the right to request that we delete any of your Personal Information. If you would like to submit a Request to Delete, you may submit such a request as described below. Once we receive your request and confirm your identity, we will review your request to see if an exception allowing us to retain the information applies. We will delete or deidentify Personal Information not subject to one of these exceptions from our records and will direct our service providers to take similar action.

Right to Correct

Subject to certain exceptions, you have the right to request that we correct inaccurate Personal Information that we have collected about you. If you would like to submit a Request to Correct, you may submit such a request as described below. Once we receive your request and confirm your identity, we will review your request, taking into account the nature of the Personal Information and the purposes of the processing of the Personal Information to see if we can correct the data and will direct our service providers to take similar action. We may also request additional information showing that the information you want to correct is inaccurate.

Sensitive Personal Information

Our Services do not request Sensitive Personal Information and we do not offer the ability to limit the use or disclosure of such information. Please do not submit Sensitive Personal Information to our Services. In case we collect any Sensitive Personal Information, we do not process Sensitive Personal Information for the purpose of inferring characteristics and we only use this information for the purpose for which it was collected.

Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your data privacy rights.

We will endeavor to respond to your request within the required time frame. If we require more time, we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. Please note that additional information may be requested from you to confirm your identity. This is to ensure that your Personal Information is not disclosed to a person who does not have a right to receive it. We will only use Personal Information you provide in connection with your request to review and comply with your request.

Shine the Light

California residents also have the right to ask us one time each year if we have shared personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. 13. Special Information for Nevada Residents

This privacy policy and the CARU icon shown on our website confirm that TCL Research America, Inc. d/b/a TCL TV+ is a valid licensee and participating member in the CARU COPPA Safe Harbor Program (“CARU Safe Harbor”). To protect your privacy, we have voluntarily undertaken this privacy initiative. CARU has reviewed and certified that we meet established online information collection and use practices on the TCL TV+ and all TCL TV+ properties where this privacy policy is posted.

As part of the CARU COPPA Safe Harbor, we are subject to audits and frequent monitoring of our websites and/or apps and other enforcement and accountability mechanisms administered independently by CARU.
